Custom IT Products & Platform Engineering
The tool your workflow needs doesn't exist yet.
When the off-the-shelf option means bending your process around someone else's product, we build the one that fits — and hand you the keys.
What we build
Four kinds of work
Internal tools
The operations screens your team needs and no vendor sells: intake queues, review consoles, scheduling boards, approval flows — shaped to the process you actually run.
Integrations
Your ERP, accounting package, CRM, and line-of-business tools made to talk to each other, so data is entered once and reconciliations stop being a job.
Data platforms
A warehouse of your own with pipelines, quality checks, and dashboards — reporting without per-viewer licences or export limits.
Legacy modernization
The twenty-year-old system that runs the business, rebuilt incrementally — strangler-pattern, module by module, with the old system live until each piece proves out.
How we build
Boring technology, serious ownership
Internal software should be dependable for a decade, not exciting for a quarter.
Proven stacks only
Mainstream languages and databases your future hires will already know. No framework bets your business has to live with.
Shaped to the workflow
We watch how the work actually happens before we design screens. The tool fits the process — the process doesn't bend to the tool.
Documentation and handover as deliverables
Architecture notes, runbooks, and training are in the scope, not a courtesy. Your team can run it without us.
You own everything
Source code, data, infrastructure — with full escrow during the build. Continuing with us is a choice, never a necessity.
Engagement
Three ways to work with us
Fixed-scope project
A defined build at a defined price. Best when the problem is clear and bounded.
Dedicated pod
A standing team that builds and extends your internal platform month over month.
Retainer
Maintenance, support, and incremental improvement after handover — cancellable, not compulsory.
FAQ
Fair questions
Isn't custom software risky compared to buying?
The risk is in how it's run, not in the word custom. Fixed scope, a pilot before a rollout, parallel runs, and proven technology take out the failure modes that give bespoke builds a bad name. Buying has its own risk — it just arrives later, as renewal pricing and lock-in.
What does it cost?
A scoped estimate comes out of the audit, as a range with its assumptions attached. If an off-the-shelf tool genuinely fits your case cheaper over three years, the audit will say that instead.
Can you work with our in-house developers?
Yes — jointly during the build or as reviewers of it. The codebase is written to be handed over, so your team inheriting it is the plan, not a complication.
Who owns the code?
You do, with full source escrow during the engagement.
